The Worship Ministry at CCO is a very important part of the ministry. Leading believers in worship is not only a calling, but a privilege. We aim to keep God at the focus of why we worship in a church service. Worship is primarily for Him, and not for us. As long as His heart is blessed, we’ve been successful. He desires us to, "worship God in spirit and in truth" John 4:24
King David chose skilled and anointed men for the worship of the Lord in His house:
All these were under the direction of their father for the music in the house of the LORD, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman were under the authority of the king. 1 Chron. 25:6
The Lord also tells us the proper attitude to bring when we come to worship Him: Oh come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is the great God, And the great King above all gods. Psalm 95:1-3
